A playful redesign of the salt and pepper set.

The initial impression of the vague terms 'product' or 'object' is often that of a solitary and still substance. Salt and pepper sets are an example of a classic kitchen tool that contrarily invites kinetic interaction such as shaking or twisting. The objective of this project was to explore a variation of abstract form and movement, and then allow this exploration to guide a thoughtful redesign of a universally 'known' product.
